29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): Electric equipment had damaged parts that may adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that were broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating: On or about March 8, 2019, employees were exposed to electrical hazards because: a) the black flexible cord located in the Maintenance Shop had cracked outer insulation and exposed inner wiring. b) the Square D Disconnect located in the Employee Break Room Utility Closet had torn flexible metal conduit and exposed inner wiring. c) the metal receptacle box located in the Pool Chemical Room used for the Mec-O-Matic was corroded. d) the metal receptacle box located in the Pool Chemical Room used for the Tork was corroded. e) the metal receptacle box with 4-receptacles located in the Pool Chemical Room used to power a sensor was corroded. f) the electrical breakers located in the Main Electrical Panel in the Telecommunications Room was corroded.
