29 CFR 1910.1053(j)(1): The employer did not include respirable crystalline silica in the program established to comply with the hazard communication standard (HCS) (29 CFR 1910.1200): Recycling Center; On or about 8/16/18, the employer did not include silica in a program to comply with the hazard communication standard. Employees at the recycling center perform construction debris crushing operations. While water was used to control the dust at one end of the operation, an employee working before the wetting down was exposed at 48.3 ug/m3 for an 8 hour TWA. The action level is 25 ug/m3 and the PEL is 50 ug/m3.
