29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: ColorCoat, Inc./Middlesex, NJ- Throughout the Facility: The employer did not provide hazardous chemical training for employees required to use chemicals such as but not limited to paint, thinners and alcohols: - R7K119 Lacquer Thinner (which containes 25% aliphatic hydrocarbons, 33% toluene, 21% Acetone, 5% Xylene, etc.) - Isopropyl alcohol 99% -Hydro Flex Hardener (contains 1,6- diisocyanato-hexane homopolymer 50%, etc.) -Hydro Flex Pigmented Satin (which contains N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone 5-10%, 2-butoxyethanol 1-5%, etc.) Condition observed on or about June 5, 2018.
