29 CFR 1910.37(b)(6): Each exit sign was not illuminated to a surface value of at least five foot-candles (54 lux) by a reliable light source and be distinctive in color: a) Atlantic Precast Concrete - On or about March 15, 2018, the employer's electric powered Exit sign in the Channel Department was inoperable and did not illuminate to a surface value of at least 5 foot-candles by a reliable light source. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
