29 CFR 1910.23(e)(2)(i): Steps were not uniformly spaced and arranged, with a rise of not more than 10 inches (25 cm) and a depth of not less than 7 inches (18 cm) and/or the slop of the step stringer to which the steps were attached was more than 60 degrees measured form the horizontal: On or about March 15, 2018, employees were exposed to fall hazards when employees used the job-made mobile ladder stand on line 4: a. the rise to the first step was more than 10 inches (approximately 11 1/4 inches) b. steps were not uniformly spaced and arranged (rise to first step of approximately 11 1/4 inches, rise to next step of approximately 10 inches) In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
