29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. On or about 02 February 2018, the employer failed to ensure that Flexible cords and cables were connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: This exposed employees to electric shock and/or burns in the event the cord was pulled from the wire terminals. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
