29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(4)(i): The employer did not determine or implement an appropriate written schedule for cleaning or method of decontamination based upon the location within the facility, type of surface to be cleaned, type of soil present, and tasks or procedures being performed in the area. (a) Embalming Room - A written schedule had not been developed for decontaminating areas including but not limited to the tables, countertops, fume hoods and floors containing blood or other potentially infectious material to which the employees could be exposed, on or about January 10, 2018. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
