29 CFR 1915.504(c)(2)(iv): Employers did not ensure that employees assigned to fire watch duties remained in the hot work area for at least 30 minutes after hot work. M/V Tamaraw, below the main deck, aft: On August 14, 2017, fire watch(es) did not remain in the hot work area for at least 30 minutes. A survey of the area was not performed to ensure that fire hazards were eliminated prior to leaving for dinner break. Employees were exposed to fire hazards.
