29 CFR 1910.95(d)(1): When information indicated that any employee's exposure equaled or exceed the 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels, the employer did not develop and implement a monitoring program: a) Production Area; On or about February 28, 2017 the employer exposed employees to noise hazards, in that employees using a F&K CI Press (Model 16S-8, Serial No 58256/3086) to print food labels were exposed to continuous noise at 84.57% of the permissible daily exposure of 85 dBA (time-weighted average) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 88.7 dBA during the 440 minute sampling period on February 28, 2017. The exposure calculation included a zero increment for the 40 minutes not sampled.
