29 CFR 1910.1026(l)(1)(ii): In classifying the hazards of chromium (VI) at least the following hazards were not addressed: Cancer, eye irritation, and skin sensitization. On or about March 02, 2017 in the welding bays of the production area employees welding on stainless steel were exposed to chromium (VI) where the employer did not inform the employees of the hazards of chromium (VI). On March 02, 2017 a welder was exposed to 5.4 micrograms chromium (VI) per cubic meter of air as an eight hour time weighted average for 463 minutes sampled with the remaining 17 minutes calculated as zero exposure.
