29 CFR 1926.652(g)(1)(ii): Shields were not installed in a manner to restrict lateral or other hazardous movement of the shield in the event of the application of sudden lateral loads: Zee Construction Co., Inc. 4930 Woodville Rd, Northwood, Ohio: On or about May 14, 2016 the shield system that was in place was not installed to prevent lateral movement and provide protection against cave-in hazards from the sidewalls of the excavation. An employee was struck by soil during a cave-in incident.
