29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained on was introduced into their work area: a) Mavis Tire Supply Corp. dba Mavis Discount Tires/Westfield, NJ-Throughout the Shop: Employer did not ensure that employees required to use chemicals including flammables and irritants were provided with information and training on hazards associated with handling of these chemical products. Employees used chemical products such as but not limited to Safety Seal liquid patch and Rim & Bead Sealer. Condition observed on or about March 30, 2016.
