29 CFR 1910.244(a)(1)(ii): Rated load(s) of portable jack(s) were not legibly and permanently marked in a prominent location on the jack(s) by casting, stamping, or other suitable means: (a) Facility: The ATD portable red jack, used to elevate vehicles, was not marked with its rated load, on or about 8/18/15. (b) Facility: The portable black jack, used to elevate vehicles, was not provided with its rated load, on or about 8/18/15 NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
