29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: Employees in the Memory Building, building 1, were exposed to electrical shock and burn hazards from: a) an orange flexible cord that was plugged into an outlet in the food pantry and ran along the floor until terminating at the pantry freezer's plug end. b) a white flexible cord that was plugged into an electrical outlet in the kitchen and terminated at the plug end of the proximity door alarm system's annunciator. c) a yellow flexible cord in series with a three way outlet extender and a black flexible cord in the Garage and terminated at the plug end of a refrigerator.
