29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2): Each exit was not clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit.": On or about October 8, 2014, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that exits were marked with exit signs, exposing employees to entrapment and/or delayed escape in the event of fire. a. In the foundry, the exit door on the west side wall next to the bay door was not marked with an exit sign. b. In the maintenance shop on the north end of the facility, the exit door next to the bay door was not marked with an exit sign. c. The door leading from the CNC Department to the Machine Shop was not marked with an exit sign indicating the path of travel to the nearest exit. d. In the machine shop on the north end of the facility, the exit door next to the bay door was not marked with an exit sign.
