29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): On offhand grinding machines, were not kept adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one-eighth inch to prevent the work from being jammed between the wheel and the workrest, which may cause wheel breakage: Value Added section: Workrests of a Ryobi abrasive bench grinder with stone wheels were approximately 3/8 inch from the wheels exposing operators to in-going nip points. Hydraulic section: Workrests of a Baldor abrasive grinder were approximately 1/2 inch from the wheels exposing operators to in-going nip points.
