29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): The employer did not select and/or use the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee(s) from the hazard(s): On August 14, 2012, and at times prior thereto, in the General Merchandising/Receiving area on the west central side of store, the employer did not ensure the affected employees were wearing proper personal protective equipment while operating the Cram-A-Lot baler. Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards.
