29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1): Each platform on all working levels of scaffolds was not fully planked or decked between the front uprights and the guardrail supports as specified in paragraphs 1926.451(b)(1)(i)-(ii): On or about February 28, 2012, an employee was plastering the exterior of the building under construction from tubular welded scaffolding erected up to approximately 20 feet high without the work platforms fully planked, exposing the employee to a fall hazard. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that each employee working on scaffolding is working from platforms that are fully planked.
