29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)National Food NW LLC, at 25351 National Avenue, Plankinton, SD 57368: On or about and at times prior to February 21, 2025, the employer did not ensure that electrical equipment was effectively in good working order, in that employees were exposed to live electrical wires associated with a broken conduit under an electrical box mounted to the Eggflow. This condition exposed employees to shock and electrocution as well as fire hazards associated with exposed wiring on the electrical box.
