29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): The employer did not select and have each affected employee use, the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee(s) from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment: On or about January 29, 2025, the employer failed to select and have each affected employee use the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employees when employees in the Coil Room were provided inadequate personal protective equipment, and the employer did not ensure the use of proper equipment such as, but not limited to, safety goggles and gloves that provide adequate protection for the chemical exposures present.
