29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure. a. On or about November 6, 2024, in the production area, flexible cords were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of receptacle outlets. The flexible cords were extended from a receptacle outlet in the chemical room to supply power to two digital meat weight scales. Employees were thereby exposed to the hazards of electrical shock.
