29 CFR 1910.252(c)(1)(iv): The employer did not include the potentially hazardous materials employed in fluxes, coatings, coverings, and filler metals, all of which are potentially used in welding and cutting, in the program established to comply with Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) (sec. 1910.1200) and/or the employer did not ensure that each employee had access to labels on containers of such materials and safety data sheets, and was trained in accordance with the provisions of � 1910.1200: (a) Throughout the facility; On or about October 29, 2024, employees were not provided training initially on the chemical hazards associated with welding and grinding on galvanized and non-galvanized steel in which exposure to heavy metals including, but not limited to, manganese fume, copper fume, zinc oxide fume, iron oxide fume, and hexavalent chromium were identified. (b)Throughout the facility; On or about October 29, 2024, employees were not provided training initially on the chemical hazards associated with welding gases to include, but not be limited to, oxygen, acetylene, and carbon dioxide.
