29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1):Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: (a) Building #3 -On or about October 10, 2024, the employer provided a 10" table saw for employees to use to cut wood that was missing the top guard over the saw blade exposing employees to amputation hazards. Additionally, the employer had employees use the 1 0" rip saw to cut material while the spreader was missing and to cut material for the wooden planks that was missing the non-kickback fingers exposing employees to amputation hazards [(29 C.F.R. 1910.213(c)(2) and 29 CFR 1910.213(c)(3)]
