29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1):Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition shall be removed from service. All repairs shall be made by authorized personnel. a. On or about April 2, 2024, employees were operating a Yale propane-powered forklift with a damaged/leaking propane hose attached to a vertically mounted propane bottle. The condition exposed employees to a fire hazard. b. On or about April 2, 2024, employees were operating a CAT GC25K propane-powered forklift, Serial No. AT82C90946, with damaged hydraulic hoses at the mast. The condition exposed employees to struck-by hazards in the event of hydraulic failure.
