Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 005A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.119(j)(2): The employer did not implement written procedures to maintain the on-going integrity of process equipment. On August 18, 2023, and at times prior, the employer failed to develop an adequate written mechanical integrity procedure for inspecting the possibility of corrosion under the insulation on process equipment. This exposed employees to anhydrous ammonia release hazards.
