29 CFR 1910.134(f)(1): The employer did not ensure that employee(s) required to use a tight-fitting facepiece respirator passed the appropriate qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT): a) Plating Operation, Anoplate Corporation, 459 Pulaski Street, Syracuse NY, 13204, on or about 8/10/2023, and at times prior thereto: Employees did not pass appropriate respirator fit test and were required to wear an elastomeric half face Moldex 7000 series respirator while doing additions to plating line tanks with chemicals including, but not limited to Potassium Hydroxide, Cyanide, and Caustic Soda Beads.
