29 CFR 1910.1026(i)(4)(i): Employees were allowed to consume food or beverages at a worksite where chromium (VI) was present; however, the employer did not ensure that the eating and drinking areas were maintained as free as practicable of chromium (VI): In the welding shop, the employer failed to ensure that the food and beverage (break room) area was maintained as free as possible from Hexavalent Chromium. The reporting limit for Hexavalent Chromium on Quartz Fiber Filer 37 is 0.114 �g per cubic meter. The wipe sample taken from the black folding break room table revealed 0.118 �g of Hexavalent Chromium per cubic meter.
