29 CFR 1910.1024(f)(2)(i): The employer did not use engineering and/or work practice controls to the extent that such controls were feasible to reduce and/or maintain employee airborne exposure to or below the PEL and STEL: Location: foundry and grinding room On or about 6/8/2023, engineering controls such as designated beryllium grinding booths and work practice controls such as, but not limited to, housekeeping procedures, change room procedures, and beryllium contaminated trash disposal procedures, were inadequate in reducing employee airborne exposures to beryllium to or below the permissible exposure limit (PEL) and short term exposure limit (STEL).
