Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 005A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employers did not develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met. On or about May 13, 2022, the employer at 2421 Morral Kirkpatrick Road in Morral, Ohio failed to develop and maintain a written Hazard Communication program that instructs employees on how to handle the chemicals used in the wash bay area to clean tanker trucks that arrive in the facility for cleaning. The chemical processes used in the cleaning operation include the chemicals but not limited to Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Silicate, and Longchain Alcohol Alkoxylated.
