29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: Facilities at 940 and 950 Wellington Avenue, Cranston RI: On or about August 18, 2021, the employer did not develop and implement a written hazard communication program for employees exposed to hazardous chemicals including but not limited to; a.) Corian shop (bldg. 940) employees are exposed to fire hazards by working with flammable chemicals such as Corian Joint adhesive (flammable) and denatured alcohol (flammable). b.) Stone fabrication shop (bldg. 950) employees are exposed to fire hazards by working with flammable chemicals such as acetone and inhalation hazards by working with solid surface materials containing silica such as granite and Wilsonart Quartz.
