29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1)(ii): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards, based on the mechanical strength and durability, including, for parts designed to enclose and protect other equipment, the adequacy of the protection thus provided: On or about April 28, 2021: a. On the CME pellet machine, the flexible cord for the motor on the non-pelletized feed line was taped, exposing employees to electrical shock hazards. b. At the loading station for the THMR Kwikcutter 449 mixer, the flexible cord for the World Weigh BWS scale was frayed and taped, exposing employees to an electrical shock hazard of approximately 220 V.
