29 CFR 1926.652(c)(2)(i): Design of support systems, shield systems, or other protective systems that are drawn from manufacturer's tabulated data were not in accordance with all specifications, recommendations, and limitations issued or made by the manufacturer: a. On or about August 27, 2020, at the jobsite, around 12:45 pm, the trench box used to protect four employees in a trench 6 feet 3 inches deep, in previously disturbed type C soil, was not assembled and used per the manufacturer's tabulated data, thus exposing the employees to struck-by and caught between hazards.
