29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: At a worksite located at 1301 Stahl Drive, Warrensburg, MO: Employees were exposed to toxic and/or hazardous substances. This was demonstrated on August 19, 2020 when employees were exposed to chemical substances including, but not limited to Cobra 15N, Isoset I and II, CRC Knock'er loose, Sprayon LU711, Sulfer Dioxide (SO2) Sodium Hydoxide 50% without having effective training on the hazards of the chemicals and substances they are exposed to during the production process. The employer failed to train these employees on the specific hazards associated with these substances prior to their use in the facility.
