29 CFR 1926.1417(e)(1):29 CFR 1926.1417(e)(1): The crane operator left the controls while the load was suspended and did not meet all of the requirements of (i) through (iv) of this standard. On or about July 16, 2020 at 4630 Chambers Road in Macon Georgia, employees making repairs to a sign suspended by a crane were exposed to struck-by hazards, in that the RSC crane operator did not remain at the controls of the crane.
