29 CFR 1910.252(a)(2)(iii)(A): Fire watchers shall be required whenever welding or cutting is performed in locations where other than a minor fire might develop, or any of the following conditions exist: a) On or about August 12, 2018 while welding on a storage tank, 35 feet in the air, a fire watch was not present to prevent flare ups or fires by using a fire extinguisher, exposing them to fire/burn hazards.
