29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): There were damaged parts that could adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that were broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating. On or about June 25, 2018 and times prior, the employer did not repair damaged parts on Niagara 175 ton press brake such as but not limited to the main motor start switch and the ON/OFF switch. This condition could adversely affect the safe shut down of the press brake during an emergency situation.
