29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: The employer is failing to protect employees from electrical hazards associated with unsafe electrical work practices in using temporary flexible cords in lieu of permanent wiring. The most recent occurrence of this was found at the facility located at 1204 Jones St. Omaha, NE where the employer has strung temporary flexible cords along the ceiling above the production line as means of plugging the equipment into overhead drop outlets.
