29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): The point of operation of machines whose operation exposes an employee to injury, was not guarded. The guarding device was not in conformity with any appropriate standards therefor, or, in the absence of applicable specific standards, was not so designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone during the operating cycle. a. Bunting Bearings, LLC located in Delta, Ohio: On or about April 20, 2018, the employer did not ensure the Brugger horizontal caster, located in building #3, was properly guarded in that an employee was exposed to ingoing nip points of the drive rollers when determining the rotational speed of the casting.
