29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(iii): The employer did not identify and evaluate the respiratory hazard(s) in the workplace; including a reasonable estimate of employee exposures to respiratory hazards and identification of the contaminant's chemical state and physical form: a. Stock Casting Room: On or about February 23, 2016, and at times prior, employees were exposed to respiratory hazards while using chemicals such as, but not limited to Methylene biphenyl isocyanate (Part #625 MIX AND POUR FOAM) while casting rifle stocks. The employer failed to identify and evaluate the respiratory hazards, estimate of employee exposures, and identify the contaminant's chemical state and physical form. b. Spray Booth: On or about February 23, 2016, and at times prior, employees were exposed to respiratory hazards while using chemicals such as, but not limited to Ethylbenzene, Xylene, Trimethylbenzene, Methoxy-propanol, Light Aromatic Hydrocarbons, Butoxyethanol, Triethylene Tetramine and Polyamide (Sherwin Williams Tile Clad B62 TZ 104 Epoxy), while spray finishing gun stocks. The employer failed to identify and evaluate the respiratory hazards, estimate of employee exposures, and identify the contaminant's chemical state and physical form.
