29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employees ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: Note: The employer may discontinue an employees medical evaluations when the employee is no longer required to use a respirator. On December 21, 2015 employees working in the mold break up area, Cast Cleaning and Cutoff departments were observed wearing 2-strap filtering face piece respirators and had not been medically evaluated before being required to use the respirator in the workplace. A & B Foundry was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 737142, citation number 2, item number 2(a) issued on May 14, 2013 and was affirmed as a final order on December 18, 21013.
