29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment: PAINTING On, or about, September 15, 2015, the employer failed to require that a painter who worked with chemicals such as, but not limited to, Rockhard Chromate Primer, which contained hexavalent chromium, a carcinogen, wear protective clothing, such as, but not limited to, Tyvek coveralls while applying the coating.
