29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1): A power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition was not removed from service: This violation was observed on January 20, 2015, and January 21, 2015, in the metal shop and yard where: a) The Yale forklift truck that had a broken/missing safety belt was not removed from service until repaired. b) The Komatsu, FG45T2-7 forklift truck (serial no.: 104178A) that had a missing LPG fuel tank clamp was not removed from service until repaired. c) The Komatsu, FG45BCS-8 forklift truck (serial no.: 131999A) that had a broken/missing backrest was not removed from service until repaired.
