29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): The employer did not select and have each affected employee use, the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee(s) from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment: On or about October 8, 2014, in the foundry, the employer did not enforce use of aluminized suits by employees that were pouring molten metal, and use of long-sleeved arm protection for employees performing tasks on melt platforms, including, but not limited to, charging furnaces, skimming slag, and pulling buttons (samples) from molten metal for the lab, exposing employees to the hazards of molten metal splashes.
