29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(9)(ii): Training was not provided prior to or at the time of initial assignment and/or at least annually thereafter for employees likely to be exposed in excess of a permissible exposure limit (PEL) and for employees performing Class I through IV asbestos operations: a) A.M. Castle & Co., Franklin Park, IL, did not provide annual asbestos training to all maintenance employees who periodically come into contact with asbestos, as defined by Class IV asbestos operations, during tasks performed at the facility. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
