29 CFR 1910.253(b)(1)(i): All portable cylinders used for the storage and shipment of compressed gases shall be constructed and maintained in accordance with the regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation, 49 CFR Parts 171-179. a. In the truck garage, wooden pallets were nailed together as a platform and storage cart for the oxygen/acetylene cylinders and were not constructed or maintained in accordance with the standards thereby exposing employees to a fire hazard.
