29 CFR 1910.219(c)(2)(i): All exposed part(s) of horizontal shafting seven (7) feet or less from floor or working platform were not protected by stationary casing(s) enclosing shafting completely or by trough(s) enclosing sides and top or sides and bottom of shafting:. Employees working drilling rig #6, SEC 31, TWP 14, R 31, 1370 fnl, 1130 fsl, Oakley, KS were exposed to caught in hazards in that rotating horizontal shafting was not fully enclosed on the following equipment: a) mud mixer motor; 2 inch section located 22 inches from the ground. b) water pump; 2 inch section located 15 inches from the floor.
