29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards: QT #326, 740 S. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67211 - Employees were exposed to fall hazards of 12 feet to the ground below while moving stones, planks, and materials on the top level of the tubular welded frame scaffold. Employees were not trained to recognize the circumstances when fall protection was required while working on a scaffold and the means/methods to implement to ensure compliance. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
