29 CFR 1910.217(c)(1)(i): The employer did not provide and ensure the usage of point of operation guards or properly applied point of operation devices on every operation performed on mechanical power press(es): On or about May 30, 2013, at the above addressed jobsite. a. An employee was exposed to an amputation hazard while working with a mechanical power press (Rouselle No.3) that had an unguarded pinch point at the ram area. b. An employee was exposed to an amputation hazard while working with a mechanical power press (EW Bliss Co.) that lacked point of operation guarding. c. An employee was exposed to an amputation hazard while working with a mechanical power press (Rouselle No. 2E) that lacked point of operation guarding. d. An employee was exposed to an amputation hazard while working with a mechanical power press (Johnson 2) that lacked point of operation guarding.
