29 CFR 1926.200(g)(2): All traffic control signs or devices used for protection of construction workers shall conform to Part VI of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (AMUTCD"), 1988 Edition, Revision 3, September 3, 1993, FHWA-SA-94-027 or Part VI of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Millennium Edition, December 2000, FHWA, which are incorporated by reference. In accordance with Section 6C.05 Transition Area, channelization devices were not used to redirect road users from the normal path when redirection is required: Faith Baptist Church Paving Project - On or about May 7, 2013, an employee working within the Forest Avenue roadway was struck and killed by a vehicle, and cones or other channelization devices were not deployed around the equipment and work area.
