29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(12): Unprotected sides and edges of stairway landings shall be provided with guardrail systems. Guardrail system criteria are contained in subpart M of this part. [55 FR 47687, Nov. 14, 1990; 56 FR 47689, Jan. 23, 1991; 56 FR 41794, Aug. 23, 1991] Location: 225 Carlton Ave., Brooklyn, NY. a) Employer failed to provide a complete guardrail system at the 1rst floor landing exposing employees to a potential fall hazard of approximately 9 ft. to the floor below; on or about 9/11/12.
